VW MkIII Front Springs for lift and firmer suspension

Poly reinforced strut tophats (3M window weld)

Lower Driver Side corner of windshield

Rear Firewall of cab

Floor had previously rusted away, but I replaced it with a whole new floorpan. Fully Tack welded along all seams, and sealed with
undercoating



Others:

Fresh oversized battery  Group 48 AGM Deep Cycle 720 CCA

Remote battery disconnect to avoid any trickle drain

Missing Linkz Weighted Short Shifter

Relayed headlights (more reliable, and brighter)

Replaced headlight switch

Auxiliary water/Coolant temp sensor + Gauge (includes battery voltage)

New clutch and throttle cables

fitted toolbox which is secure, but also easily removable. It's a friction fit

Throttle position string attached to pedal, sends vacuum via adjustable valve, to the turbo, to actuate boost. Crude but
effective



Bummers:

Stiff window cranks

Steering column bearings need replacement, so the steering wheel rattles a little bit

Drivers seat belt buckle broken (I use passenger buckle)

Noted rusty bits

Likely due for fresh timing belt/water pump/pulleys

Front drivers fender took a small whack, but the rest of the body is quite straight for a pickup truck!
